• Purchase an Un-interruptible Power Supply (UPS) or a quality surge suppressor.
• Be sure to have a firewall to protect your computer against hackers
• Keep your operating system up-to-date. This is essential in keeping your computer secure from outside attacks.
• Have a powerful antivirus software recommended by us and keep it up-to-date.

If you are experiencing problems...

• Always backup all your important files, emails, pictures etc. to CD. We can help you with a backup solution if you don't have one.
• Turn off your system for 5 minutes. When your PC starts up again, many of the problems that you were experiencing may have resolved themselves. The computer clears its memory and removes unnecessary files when it shuts down. This is sometimes enough to fix your problem.
• We do not ever recommend downloading any software such as "free scanners", or "registry optimizers". These types of programs may well be viruses or other malware disguised as helpful software. Searching online for "free PC fix-it" software is a recipe for disaster!
